Broward County Roofing Visibility Index

Broward County packs nearly two million people between the Everglades and the beach, and unlike its neighbors it reads as one continuous carpet of suburbs — Fort Lauderdale bleeds into Hollywood, Pembroke Pines into Miramar, a city line every few miles. Ground like this rewards whoever plants an office in the middle of it and works outward. Homeowners here search Google for a roofer about 4,170 times a month.

Most of those searches never get past the local pack — the little map and short list of companies Google drops at the very top. This map shows who actually owns that ground, neighborhood by neighborhood — a snapshot of who is visible right now, not a measure of who does the best work. If your company is on it — or should be — read the cards below like scouting reports: what the winners actually did, and where the ground is still open.

Colored squares are locked down by one contractor — the deeper the shade, the stronger their hold. Grey squares are up for grabs: no one wins them consistently yet. Start with your own neighborhood — that's where you're most likely to rank.

What the map tells us

The 10 most visible roofers

Two things put a roofer here: location — the pocket they sit in — and reputation, which sets how far that pocket reaches. Each card's bar shows how much of the 74-area map a roofer holds; the empty space is the map they don't reach. Some of these leads are earned and defensible. Others are sitting there waiting to be taken — the cards call out which is which. Rankings and reviews captured August 5, 2026; review counts are measured from that date.

Rockstar Roofing, Inc.

Miramar, Pembroke Pines and Fort Lauderdale
5 · 753 reviews · 60 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 10 of 74 neighborhoods, including 5 where they rank #1.
7%7%86%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Rockstar Roofing leads all of Broward: top 3 in 10 of the 74 neighborhoods we checked, five of them at #1 — the most #1 ground anyone holds in the county; the next closest holds four. The wins run from their office in Pembroke Pines through Miramar and up into a pocket of Fort Lauderdale, with top-3 reach out to Southwest Ranches. And the lead is earned. A flat 5.0 — not 4.9, 5.0 — across 753 reviews, which might be the hardest stat in this report. Behind the wins sits the reach: they cracked the top ten in 45 of our 222 searches, more than anyone in the county. This is what it looks like when somebody does close to everything right. Now the part that should register: even this profile is top 3 in 10 of 74 neighborhoods. The other 64 get decided by whoever is closest and active there. The county leader can't reach your block. That's the opening.
2

Chase Roofing

Weston, Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach
4.8 · 684 reviews · 1 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 7 of 74 neighborhoods, including 4 where they rank #1.
5%4%91%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Chase Roofing, at #2, blankets the county: they appeared in 63 of our 222 searches, second-most of any roofer in Broward. But most of that is the middle of the pack — their average position across everything we saw was ninth, and it converts to top 3 in just seven neighborhoods. 684 reviews at 4.8 is real mass. Here's the quirk worth studying: where they do win, they win outright. #1 in four neighborhoods — Weston, a Fort Lauderdale pocket, Pompano Beach, opposite corners of the county — and not a single #2 anywhere on the map. From their Weston office outward, it's either the top spot or the middle of the list.A name this visible that still averages ninth is the one to leapfrog. The map pays the closest active roofer block by block, not the biggest blanket — and a mid-pack blanket is exactly what a focused local profile climbs over.
3

Suncoast Roofers Company Miami Gardens

Miami Gardens and Miramar
4.9 · 106 reviews · no new in 9 mo
Ranking reachTop 3 in 6 of 74 neighborhoods, including 3 where they rank #1.
4%4%92%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Suncoast Roofers, at #3, holds the county's southern edge: top 3 at six spots with three #1s, Miramar across to the Miami Gardens side of the line. Their office sits just over that line, close enough that the same profile shows up in our Miami-Dade report too — one pin holding ranked ground in two counties. The profile is small — 106 reviews at 4.9 — but look at the efficiency: of the 24 searches they appeared in at all, 18 put them in the top 3, an average position of 2.7. This listing doesn't show up often. When it does, it shows up near the top, because it sits in the middle of the ground it wins. That's how much the map pays for an address in the right spot. It cuts the other way too: 106 reviews is not a moat. A roofer working this southern strip with a steady, active profile isn't fighting a machine — they're fighting a well-placed pin.
4

Pioneer Roofing Company

Hallandale Beach and Hollywood
4.5 · 110 reviews · 7 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 5 of 74 neighborhoods, including 4 where they rank #1.
5%1%93%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Pioneer Roofing, at #4, holds the southeast corner — Hallandale Beach and Hollywood — top 3 in five neighborhoods and #1 in four of them, from an office in the middle of Hollywood. Now look at the rating: 4.5, the lowest in this top ten, on 110 reviews. Everyone else here sits at 4.6 or better, most well above that. By the reputation scoreboard, Pioneer shouldn't be beating anybody. But the neighborhoods around their office don't run on the scoreboard — they run on distance, and Pioneer is the roofer planted in the middle of that ground. If a lower-rated competitor holds #1 in your neighborhood, this is usually why. The fix isn't a better rating. It's making Google see you as the established roofer on that ground.
5

Paletz Roofing & Inspection

Davie
4.8 · 414 reviews · 10 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 7 of 74 neighborhoods, including 2 where they rank #1.
3%7%91%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Paletz Roofing, #5, runs out of Davie — which happens to be close to the geographic middle of Broward's sprawl, and it shows. Top 3 at seven neighborhoods spread across five cities — Davie, Plantation, Weston, Sunrise, into Fort Lauderdale — with both #1 wins at home in Davie. The quieter stat is the blanket: they cracked the top ten in 40 of our 222 searches, and only the #1 on this board does it more often. The profile behind it is solid: 414 reviews at 4.8, the third-biggest count in this top ten.An office in the center of the county means your bubble overlaps everything. Paletz is the proof — no other roofer here places top 3 in that many different cities — and the measure of how heavy the geography advantage really is.
6

Aastro Roofing Company

Deerfield Beach and Hillsboro Beach
4.9 · 344 reviews · 27 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 4 of 74 neighborhoods, including 3 where they rank #1.
4%1%95%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Aastro Roofing, at #6, owns the county's top edge — Deerfield Beach and Hillsboro Beach, #1 at three of the four neighborhoods they crack — and nothing below it. One look at the pin explains why: their office sits at the north end of Broward, so a share of the ground their profile can reach isn't in this county at all.The profile itself is strong — 4.9 across 344 reviews — and their website sits just off page one of the regular results for two of the three citywide searches we ran. That's leader-grade material by most measures in this report. And it still buys exactly the neighborhoods around the pin. Put this profile in the middle of the county and it's fighting for the top of this board. From the edge, it owns the edge. Where you sit decides what your effort can win.
7

Roof Giants Inc

Dania Beach and Hollywood
4.9 · 123 reviews · 8 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 5 of 74 neighborhoods, including 2 where they rank #1.
3%4%93%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Roof Giants, at #7, is the name that keeps almost showing up. Visible in 58 of our 222 searches and top ten in 40 — again, only the county's #1 cracks the top ten more often — but it converts to top 3 at just five neighborhoods around Hollywood and Dania Beach, two of them at #1.The difference between showing up and winning is usually mass, and you can see it in one number: 123 reviews at 4.9, against the 753 and 684 carried by the top two on this board. Most everything else is in place. They're simply younger on the scoreboard.Watch this one. A profile that's already everywhere in the top ten is one growth spurt away from flipping a lot of those almosts into #1s. If they're near your ground, don't give them the runway.
8

Tiger Team Roofing

Lauderdale Lakes and North Lauderdale
4.9 · 395 reviews · 42 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 5 of 74 neighborhoods, including 2 where they rank #1.
3%4%93%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Tiger Team Roofing, at #8, holds five neighborhoods in the top 3 from their shop in north Fort Lauderdale — #1 in Lauderdale Lakes and North Lauderdale, reach into Oakland Park — on 395 reviews at 4.9.The tell is the second door: their website makes page one of the regular results for all three citywide searches we ran. Exactly one other roofer on this board can say that — Nast, below. Map pins wobble day to day; a website that ranks doesn't.A map position plus a search position is the combination most of this list hasn't built, and it compounds — each door feeds the other. If you share ground with Tiger Team, the time to contest it is before that happens.

Nast Roofing Co

Fort Lauderdale
4.6 · 377 reviews · 4 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 4 of 74 neighborhoods, including 2 where they rank #1.
3%3%95%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Nast Roofing, at #9, holds two #1 neighborhoods in the Fort Lauderdale core, top 3 at four, from their shop on State Road 84. Decent map ground. But that's not why they're interesting.Type “roofing contractor” or “roofing company” into plain Google in Fort Lauderdale and Nast is the #3 regular result — not the map, the actual page — #4 for “roofers,” top five across every citywide term we ran. They even hold a seat in the citywide map pack for “roofing company.” Behind it: 377 reviews at 4.6.That's a second door for customers most of these leaders don't have, and it doesn't wobble day to day the way map pins do. If the map ever tightens on them, the website keeps answering the phone.
10

Edge 2 Edge Roofing

Sunrise and Tamarac
5 · 40 reviews · 1 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 3 of 74 neighborhoods, including 3 where they rank #1.
4%96%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Edge 2 Edge Roofing, at #10, is the smallest operation on this board and the cleanest proof of how the map actually works. 40 reviews — the fewest of anyone here — at a flat 5.0, and every top-3 finish they posted was a #1: three neighborhoods, Sunrise and Tamarac, right around their Sunrise office. It's not a fluke of three lucky pins, either — they reached the top ten in 28 of our 222 searches, ground most bigger names never touch. Two lessons in one card. First: you don't need 700 reviews to own your block — proximity and a clean profile can do it on 40. Second: ground held on 40 reviews is the most contestable ground in this report. Whichever side of that you're on, the move is the same — work your own block first.

Reputation and reviews

Broward's review spread is enormous: one corner of the county was won with six reviews while the most contested spot cost 3,375. Before you set a review goal, it's worth seeing what the spots you actually want are selling for.

What it takes to win a spot — the reviews held by the #1 roofer at each of the 74 search points
Lowest bar6 reviewsMiramarRoofRanger Roof Repairs…
Typical spot116 reviewsmedian of the 74 wins
Highest bar3,375 reviewsDaviePaul Bange Roofing
At one end, a quiet corner of Miramar went to RoofRanger Roof Repairs… on just 6 reviews. At the other, a contested spot in Davie took Paul Bange Roofing’s 3,375. The bar is set by who sits near you, not by one citywide number.

Paul Bange Roofing is that 3,375 — the biggest review count on this map, at 4.9, and Broward's more honest lesson than “reviews don't matter.” Because the pile does buy ground: Bange holds top 3 in six neighborhoods — Davie, Plantation, into Fort Lauderdale — and their website shows up in the regular results for all three citywide searches we ran, though outside the top ten.

Now the price tag on it: six neighborhoods is one spot fewer than Paletz holds out of Davie with 414 reviews. Roughly eight times the reviews, and the smaller footprint. Reviews extend your reach — but they extend it outward from wherever your building sits, and the map keeps repricing every block by who's closest. Mass is the multiplier. Location is the base.

Most visible in search

The map pack drives most of the clicks, but below it sit the regular search results, where the website does the work — and in Broward that's almost a separate leaderboard. Allied Roofing & Sheet Metal cracked the top 3 in 27 of our 71 searches, more than anyone in the county, while holding exactly one neighborhood on the map above. The #2 wins on pure relevance: Atlas Metal Roofing ranks on a site named metalroofingfortlauderdale.com without appearing on the neighborhood map at all. And the citywide game has its own winner — run “roofing contractor,” “roofers,” or “roofing company” in Fort Lauderdale and Best Roofing sits in the map pack for every single one, #1 for “roofing company,” while holding four neighborhoods on the block-by-block map. These are separate games — before you copy a competitor's playbook, check which one they actually won. Nast Roofing, from the cards above, is the rare shop playing both.

The stakes: 25 of the 71 searches — things like “galvanized steel roofing”, “standing seam metal roof”, “shingle roof” — showed no local pack at all, about 1,200 searches a month that only a website can catch. Here's who showed up most in the search results:

What we measured

We analyzed the 71 highest-volume roofing searches in Broward County — about 4,170 searches a month — then searched Google Maps from 74 points spread across Broward County (points over water are skipped) to record exactly which roofing companies show up, and where. 470 distinct roofing businesses appeared — and the same handful of names came up again and again.

Google answers a local search in two places: the local pack — the little map and the few businesses shown first (you may know it as the “map pack”) — and the regular results beneath it. This report is about the local pack, where most of the clicks go. We looked only at the results companies earn — not sponsored placements (Local Services Ads, Google Ads), which sit above them and are a separate, pay-to-play game.

How these rankings work

Local rankings are always moving. Google refreshes them constantly, so the exact order at any single point can shift week to week, and the leader at a hotly contested spot today may not be the leader next month. Run one of these searches from your own corner of Broward County and you may see a slightly different lineup, because Google tailors what it shows to exactly where you're standing.

All of which is why the citywide map only tells you so much. The one that decides whether your phone rings is your own: where you already win, where you never appear, and where a competitor down the street is quietly taking ground you can't see.

Where do you show up on this map?

You've just seen who owns Broward County. The other half of the story is your company: which neighborhoods you show up in, which ones you don't, and who's getting the calls there instead. Type your company name and we'll pull up your live map. Free, and it takes about 10 seconds.
