Broward County Roofing Visibility Index
Broward County packs nearly two million people between the Everglades and the beach, and unlike its neighbors it reads as one continuous carpet of suburbs — Fort Lauderdale bleeds into Hollywood, Pembroke Pines into Miramar, a city line every few miles. Ground like this rewards whoever plants an office in the middle of it and works outward. Homeowners here search Google for a roofer about 4,170 times a month.
Most of those searches never get past the local pack — the little map
and short list of companies Google drops at the very top. This map shows who actually owns that
ground, neighborhood by neighborhood — a snapshot of who is visible right now, not a measure
of who does the best work. If your company is on it — or should be — read the cards
below like scouting reports: what the winners actually did, and where the ground is still open.
Colored squares are locked down by one contractor — the deeper the shade,
the stronger their hold. Grey squares are up for grabs: no one wins them consistently
yet. Start with your own neighborhood — that's where you're most likely to
rank.
What the map tells us
No single roofer owns Broward County. 44 different companies are #1 in at least one pocket, and the biggest territory — Rockstar Roofing, Inc.'s — is just 5 of the 74 points we searched. Visibility here is won neighborhood by neighborhood, not metro-wide.
Rockstar Roofing, Inc. is the roofer to beat in Miramar, Pembroke Pines and Fort Lauderdale.
Pioneer Roofing Company is the roofer to beat in Hallandale Beach and Hollywood.
Best Roofing is the roofer to beat in Fort Lauderdale and Oakland Park.
Chase Roofing is the roofer to beat in Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach and Weston.
Whole neighborhoods have no real leader. In Hialeah, West Park, Lauderhill and Margate and others, every #1 is a single-spot win with no established roofer behind it — the most winnable ground on the map.
Even Fort Lauderdale's core is contested: across its 10 search points the strongest roofer leads just 2, with 8 different one-spot winners splitting the rest.
Some pockets are beatable on reputation alone — Lauderhill is currently led by Roof Repair Sunrise - Sun Roof with just 10 reviews.
The 10 most visible roofers
Two things put a roofer here: location — the pocket they sit in — and
reputation, which sets how far that pocket reaches. Each card's bar shows how much of the
74-area map a roofer holds; the empty space is the map they don't reach. Some of these leads
are earned and defensible. Others are sitting there waiting to be taken — the cards call out which
is which. Rankings and reviews captured July 2, 2026; review counts are measured from that date.
1
Rockstar Roofing, Inc.
Miramar, Pembroke Pines and Fort Lauderdale
5★ · 717 reviews · 60 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 11 of 74 neighborhoods, including 5 where they rank #1.
7%8%85%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Rockstar Roofing leads all of Broward, showing up in the top 3 across 15% of the map — 11 of the 74 neighborhoods we checked, five of them at #1 — from their office in Pembroke Pines, with wins running through Miramar and up into Fort Lauderdale. And this lead is earned. A perfect 5.0 — not 4.9, 5.0 flat — across 700-plus reviews, which might be the hardest stat in this report. They're adding about 20 new reviews a month, and the profile carries over 1,800 photos. This is what it looks like when somebody does close to everything right. Now the part that should register: even this profile covers 15% of the county. The other 85% of neighborhoods get decided by whoever is closest and active there. The county leader can't reach your block. That's the opening.
2
Chase Roofing
Fort Lauderdale, Pompano Beach and Weston
4.8★ · 685 reviews · 1 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 7 of 74 neighborhoods, including 3 where they rank #1.
4%5%91%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Chase Roofing, at #2, shows up on more of the map than anyone in Broward — they appeared in 64 of our checks, more than the #1 — but mostly in the middle of the pack: top 3 in seven neighborhoods, first in three, scattered from Weston to Pompano Beach. 685 reviews at 4.8 is years of accumulated work.Accumulated — past tense. That's the story here. This was an actively worked profile; they replied to 95% of their reviews. Then the momentum stopped: one new review in the last 90 days, against about 45 over the year before. And the three most recent are all 1-star.The map hasn't noticed yet, because the map moves slower than the business. If you work the same ground, this is what an opening looks like before it's obvious.
3
Suncoast Roofers Company Miami Gardens
Miami Gardens and Miramar
4.9★ · 106 reviews · no new in 9 mo
Ranking reachTop 3 in 6 of 74 neighborhoods, including 3 where they rank #1.
4%4%92%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: If you've read our Miami-Dade report, you've already met Suncoast Roofers — they lead it. Here they are again at #3 in Broward: top 3 in six neighborhoods with three #1 spots along the county's southern edge, Miramar over to Miami Gardens. Same office, same profile — it just sits close enough to the county line that its reach spills across it.And the profile is still doing nothing. Last review nine months ago. Six photos. They reply to almost nobody. One dormant listing holding ranked ground in two county reports at once — that's how much the map pays for an address in the right spot.It cuts the other way too: dormant is beatable. A roofer working this southern strip with steady reviews and an active profile isn't fighting a machine. They're fighting a parked car.
4
Pioneer Roofing Company
Hallandale Beach and Hollywood
4.5★ · 107 reviews · 7 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 5 of 74 neighborhoods, including 4 where they rank #1.
5%1%93%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Pioneer Roofing, at #4, holds the southeast corner — Hallandale Beach and Hollywood — top 3 in five neighborhoods and #1 in four of them, from an office in the middle of Hollywood. Now look at the rating: 4.5, the lowest in this top ten, on about 100 reviews. Everyone else here sits at 4.6 or better, most well above that. By the reputation scoreboard, Pioneer shouldn't be beating anybody. But the neighborhoods around their office don't run on the scoreboard — they run on distance, and Pioneer is the established roofer planted in the middle of that ground. The profile stays alive too: new reviews still coming in this month, and they answer nearly every one.If a lower-rated competitor holds #1 in your neighborhood, this is usually why. The fix isn't a better rating. It's making Google see you as the active roofer on that ground.
5
Paletz Roofing & Inspection
Davie and Sunrise
4.8★ · 409 reviews · 10 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 6 of 74 neighborhoods, including 3 where they rank #1.
4%4%92%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Paletz Roofing, #5, runs out of Davie — which happens to be close to the geographic middle of Broward's sprawl, and it shows. Their top-3 ground is Davie and Sunrise, six neighborhoods with three #1 spots, but the quieter stat is the blanket: they cracked the top ten more than 40 times across the county, west suburbs to the coast. The profile behind it is solid and steady. 400-plus reviews at 4.8, a few new ones every month, 300-plus photos. What they don't do is talk back: we looked at their last 80 reviews and found eight owner responses. An office in the center of the county means your bubble overlaps everything. Paletz is the proof — and the fact that they win this much while leaving the easy habits on the table tells you how heavy the geography advantage really is.
6
Nast Roofing Co
Fort Lauderdale
4.6★ · 377 reviews · 4 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 5 of 74 neighborhoods, including 2 where they rank #1.
3%4%93%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Nast Roofing, at #6, holds five neighborhoods around the Fort Lauderdale core, two at #1, from their shop on State Road 84. Decent map ground. But that's not why they're interesting.Type “roofing company” into plain Google in Fort Lauderdale and Nast is the #1 regular result — not the map, the actual page — and they're top five for the other roofing terms we checked. Only a handful of roofers on this map show up there at all, and none this high. That's a second door for customers most of these leaders don't have, and it doesn't wobble day to day the way map pins do.Meanwhile the profile itself is coasting: 377 reviews at 4.6, but only four new ones in the last 90 days. The website is carrying them right now. If the review engine ever starts back up, the rest of this list has a problem.
7
Roof Giants Inc
Dania Beach and Hollywood
4.9★ · 122 reviews · 8 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 5 of 74 neighborhoods, including 2 where they rank #1.
3%4%93%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Roof Giants, at #7, is the name that keeps almost showing up. Across our checks they made the visible list 58 times — second most in the county — but converted that into top-3 ground in just five neighborhoods around Dania Beach and Hollywood, two at #1.The difference between showing up and winning is usually mass, and you can see it in one number: about 120 reviews at 4.9, against the 400s and 700s of the roofers above them. Most everything else is right — they answer most reviews, the listing carries nearly 300 photos, and their latest review is days old. They're simply younger on the scoreboard.Watch this one. A profile that's everywhere in the top ten with steady reviews behind it is one growth spurt away from flipping a lot of those almosts into #1s. If they're near your ground, don't give them the runway.
8
Best Roofing
Fort Lauderdale and Oakland Park
4.7★ · 351 reviews · 13 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 3 of 74 neighborhoods, including 3 where they rank #1.
4%96%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Best Roofing, at #8, is playing a different game than everyone above them. On the neighborhood grid they hold just three spots — Fort Lauderdale and Oakland Park — though all three at #1. Thin territory for a 351-review operation. But run the citywide searches — “roofing contractor,” “roofers,” “roofing company” in Fort Lauderdale — and they sit in the map pack for every single one, plus page one of the regular results. Those city-name searches are the biggest single pools of roofing demand in the county, and Best owns a seat at that table while barely existing on the block-by-block map. Both results are real: the citywide pack runs on mass and authority, the neighborhood map runs on proximity. Best picked mass. The takeaway is that these are two separate games — before you copy a competitor's playbook, check which game they actually won.
9
Aastro Roofing Company
Deerfield Beach and Hillsboro Beach
4.9★ · 337 reviews · 27 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 3 of 74 neighborhoods, including 3 where they rank #1.
4%96%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Aastro Roofing, at #9, owns the county's top edge — Deerfield Beach and Hillsboro Beach, three neighborhoods, all three at #1 — and nothing below it. One look at the pin explains why: their office sits at the north end of Broward, so a good share of the ground their profile can reach isn't in this county at all. What makes them worth studying is that the profile is close to textbook. 4.9 across 300-plus reviews, roughly nine new ones a month — the latest landed the day before this report went out — they answer everything, and the listing carries nearly a thousand photos. That's leader-grade activity by any measure in this report. And it still buys exactly the neighborhoods around the pin. Put this profile in the middle of the county and it's fighting for the top of this report. From the edge, it owns the edge. Where you sit decides what your effort can win.
10
Tiger Team Roofing
Lauderdale Lakes and North Lauderdale
4.9★ · 386 reviews · 42 new in 90d
Ranking reachTop 3 in 4 of 74 neighborhoods, including 2 where they rank #1.
3%3%95%
Ranked #1Ranked #2–3Not in top 3
How they got there: Tiger Team Roofing, at #10, is the profile moving fastest on this board. Fourteen new reviews a month — second only to the #1 — a 4.9 across nearly 400, replies to everything, latest review the day before this report went out. From their north Fort Lauderdale shop they hold four neighborhoods in the top 3, Lauderdale Lakes and North Lauderdale, two at #1.The tell is what's underneath: they show up in the top ten well beyond the ground they've won, and they've cracked page one of the regular results for two of the three searches we ran. That's a profile mid-climb, not one that's peaked.Every report has one of these — the operation putting in the work right now, whose card reads very differently a year out. If you share ground with Tiger Team, the time to contest it is before the climb finishes.
Reputation and reviews
Broward has the widest review spread we've mapped: one corner of the county was won with 10 reviews while the most contested spot cost 3,194. Before you set a review goal, it's worth seeing what the spots you actually want are selling for.
What it takes to win a spot — the reviews held by the #1 roofer at each of the 74 search points
Lowest bar10 reviewsLauderhillRoof Repair Sunrise

Highest bar3,194 reviewsDaviePaul Bange Roofing
At one end, a quiet corner of Lauderhill went to Roof Repair Sunrise on just 10 reviews. At the other, a contested spot in Davie took Paul Bange Roofing’s 3,194. The bar is set by who sits near you, not by one citywide number.
Paul Bange Roofing is that 3,194 — the biggest review count anywhere in our Florida reports, at 4.9, and Broward's more honest lesson than “reviews don't matter.” Because that pile does buy ground: Bange holds top 3 in six neighborhoods and shows up in the regular results for every term we checked.
Now the price tag on it: six neighborhoods is the same size territory Paletz holds up in Davie with 409 reviews. Roughly eight times the reviews, same footprint. Reviews extend your reach — but they extend it outward from wherever your building sits, and the map keeps repricing every block by who's closest. Mass is the multiplier. Location is the base.

Most visible in search
The map pack drives most of the clicks, but below it sit the regular search results, where the website does the work — and in Broward that's almost a separate leaderboard. Allied Roofing & Sheet Metal cracked the top 3 in 27 of our 71 searches, more than anyone in the county, while holding exactly one neighborhood on the map above. Their edge is the site itself: 231 different websites link to it, an authority position years in the making. The #2 wins the opposite way — Atlas Metal Roofing ranks on a site named metalroofingfortlauderdale.com with barely two dozen links, pure relevance doing all the lifting. Authority or exact match: both doors open, and Nast Roofing, from the cards above, is the rare shop that also holds map ground.
The stakes: 25 of the 71 searches — things like “galvanized steel roofing”, “standing seam metal roof”, “shingle roof” — showed no local pack at all, about 1,200 searches a month that only a website can catch. Here's who showed up most in the search results:

What we measured
We analyzed the 71 highest-volume roofing searches in Broward County — about 4,170 searches a month — then searched Google Maps from 74 points spread across Broward County (points over water are skipped) to record exactly which roofing companies show up, and where. 464 distinct roofing businesses appeared — and the same handful of names came up again and again.
Google answers a local search in two places: the local pack — the little map and the few businesses shown first (you may know it as the “map pack”) — and the regular results beneath it. This report is about the local pack, where most of the clicks go. We looked only at the results companies earn — not sponsored placements (Local Services Ads, Google Ads), which sit above them and are a separate, pay-to-play game.
How these rankings work
Local rankings are always moving. Google refreshes them constantly, so the exact order at any single
point can shift week to week, and the leader at a hotly contested spot today may not be the leader next
month. Run one of these searches from your own corner of Broward County and you may see a slightly different
lineup, because Google tailors what it shows to exactly where you're standing.
All of which is why the citywide map only tells you so much. The one that decides whether your phone
rings is your own: where you already win, where you never appear, and where a competitor down the street
is quietly taking ground you can't see.
